Diagnosing a Rare Stroke

A healthy, active, pescatarian woman came to Dr. Barash with changes in her vision. To his surprise, she’d suffered a stroke. He acted quickly to understand where this could have come from. The most important step when someone has suffered a stroke is to find out whether there is an underlying condition. This is because without such a work-up, a patient can suffer more strokes and lose function in other parts of the body including in the brain.
